  Skurrile Satzkonstrukte – getanzt und losgelöst von ihrem ursprünglichen Wortsinn, maximal sinnlose Bucherscheinungen bei gleichzeitiger Höchstauflage und eine intelligente Neuinterpretation kultigen Comedy-Trashs. Was Buchstaben seit Gutenberg (ohne Doppel-t) bewirken, wenn man Sie nur richtig zusammensetzt und in einem neuen Kontext betrachtet, zeigen an diesem Abend hochdekorierte Wortkünstler, die bereits vielfach bewiesen haben, wieviel Spaß Sprache machen kann.

  Moderiert von ARD-Literaturkritiker Denis Scheck, der natürlich auch mit seiner Meinung zu aktuellen Bestsellerlisten nicht hinterm Berg hält, sorgt u.a. der Worthasardeur und mehrfache Kleinkunstpreisträger Marcus Jeroch mit skurrilen Texten des Schriftstellers Friedhelm Kändler für Trugschluss, Sprachanmutung und ausschlagende Purzelbäume. Dabei deutscht Jeroch anders. Er taucht ein in Sprache, bis zu Wahn und Tiefenrausch, dann plötzlich hockt er am Gestade der Worte, spielt mit ihrer Oberfläche, und doch – es plätschert Sinn. Wobei nicht sicher ist, ob alle immer das Gleiche verstehen. 

  Bei Wolfgang Nitschke, dem zweiten Protagonisten des Abends, gehört „Masochismus zur Betriebsbedingung“ für seine wohlfeilen und feinsinnigen Verbalinjurien: Wer sonst würde die Druckwerke von Max Schautzer und Cherno Jobatey, Norbert Blüm und Sigmund Gottlieb verschlingen, verdauen und auf maximal drei, vier Seiten komprimiert wieder ausspucken? 218 Bestsellerfressen hat er inzwischen auf diese Art und Weise poliert, anders gesagt: dem geneigten Leser viel Zeit erspart, indem er Bücher gelesen hat, die die Welt nicht braucht. 

  Wenn es aber ums Lästern und Lesen geht, darf natürlich die weibliche Komponente nicht fehlen. Mit viel nackter Haut wagt sich Christine Prayon, die aktuelle Preisträgerin des deutschen Kleinkunstpreises und des Prix Pantheon, an die expressionistische Inszenierung eines Mario Barth Klassikers. Doch vor allem, wenn die aus aus der ZDF-heute Show als Birte Schneider bekannte Kabarettistin Sprachkunst und Imitationstalent aufblitzen lässt, brilliert sie, wenn sie „ohne Ellenbogen über Leichen geht“ oder frei nach Hölderlin rezitiert „Wenn da eine Träne kullert, so ist’s doch nur ein Aug, das pullert“.

  Ein Abend mit Lachgarantie, der nicht nur einfach ist, seine Zuschauer aber garantiert auch Tage später einfach nicht loslässt.

  Bizarre sentence constructions – danced and freed of their original meaning, to the utmost meaningless publications with, at the same time, the highest number of of copies printed, and an intelligent new interpretation of cult comedy trash. What effect letters can have since Gutenberg, if only you put them together in the right order and look at them in a new context, is being demonstrated in the course of this evening by highly-decorated verbal artists who have proved many times how much fun language can be. 

  Presented by ARD literary critic Denis Scheck, who, of course, will not be afraid to speak his mind on current best-seller lists, the verbal gambler and multiple kleinkunst award winner Marcus Jeroch, among others, will, by using bizarre texts by the writer Friedhelm Kändler, provide for false conclusions and linguistic impressions. In doing so, Jeroch uses German differently. He immerses himself in language, reaching a state of madness and rapture of the deep, then suddenly he cowers on the shore of the words, plays with their surface, and yet – meaning purls. But you cannot be sure if everybody understands the same all the time. 

  For Wolfgang Nitschke, the second protagonist of the evening, ‚masochism is an operating condition‘ for his trite and subtle verbal insults. Who else would devour and digest the printouts of Max Schautzer and Cherno Jobatey, Norbert Blüm und Sigmund Gottlieb and then disgorge them compressed to a maximum of three or four pages? By now he has given 218 best-sellers a knuckle sandwich; in other words: he has saved the well-meaning reader a lot of time by reading books which the world does not need.

  However, if you are talking about bitching and reading, the female component must not be left out. With a lot of bare skin Christine Prayon, the current laureate of the Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis and the Prix Pantheon, tackles the expressionistic presentation of a Mario Barth classic. However, the cabaret artiste, known as Birte Schneider in the ZDF-Heute Show, shines particularly when she flashes on her linguistic skill and talent for imitation, when she ruthlessly sells her own grandmother, or to loosely quote Hölderlin, “If a tear drop is running down my cheek, it’s after all only an eye that’s peeing”.

  An evening where you are guaranteed to laugh, which is not just easy, and which simply will not release the audience even days later.
